Precision OD Grinder - Join a Company Built on Quality & Craftsmanship

C&W Grinding is looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Precision OD Grinder specializing in large diameter and long-length grinding.

If you have experience with Cincinnati or Landis grinders and take pride in precision work, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Set up and operate OD grinding equipment

Establish proper grinding speeds and feed rates

Read and interpret blueprints, routing instructions, and inspection reports

Use precision measuring instruments including:
- Snap gages
- Dial bore gages
- Depth micrometers
- Profilometers
- Taper gages

Inspect parts to ensure all specifications are met

Operate overhead crane equipment safely

Maintain tools and equipment

Communicate production or equipment concerns to management

What We're Looking For

Experience with Cincinnati and/or Landis grinders

1-2 years of grinding, machining, or industrial repair experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and quality

Ability to follow multi-step processes and work independently

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Physical Requirements

Standing/walking up to 9.5 hours per day

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
