Precision Grinder
Precision OD Grinder - Join a Company Built on Quality & Craftsmanship
C&W Grinding is looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Precision OD Grinder specializing in large diameter and long-length grinding.
If you have experience with Cincinnati or Landis grinders and take pride in precision work, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate OD grinding equipment
- Establish proper grinding speeds and feed rates
- Read and interpret blueprints, routing instructions, and inspection reports
- Use precision measuring instruments including:
- Snap gages
- Dial bore gages
- Depth micrometers
- Profilometers
- Taper gages
- Inspect parts to ensure all specifications are met
- Operate overhead crane equipment safely
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Communicate production or equipment concerns to management
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Cincinnati and/or Landis grinders
- 1-2 years of grinding, machining, or industrial repair experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow multi-step processes and work independently
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Physical Requirements
- Standing/walking up to 9.5 hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
